These spots--fabulous in their own right--all spawned from another local business.
Perennially packed Rick Bayless gem where you can grab his killer guac, along w/ Mex sandwiches, for a cas lunch. Fab coffee & pastries too.
Hard to find words to describe how great the sandwiches are here! Menu rotates, but try the meatball if possible. Great deli case for dinner, picnic, etc. Killer burgers on Tuesday nights.
Nothing about PV feels like a generic hotel resto. Everything is seasonal--and much of it comes from just across the street at Green City Market. A great special occasion spot. Wonderful cocktails.
Super chef Graham Elliot goes casual. Go for the sandwiches (obviously!)--the grilled cheese is the richest of the rich--but don't overlook the tasty salads. And soft serve is a must-try.
A welcome addition to the downtown lunch scene. Bento boxes offer dozens of combos, and I recommend the spicy salmon tartare, soy edamame, and spicy tofu salad. Try the awesome pumpkin mochi for dessert (the 2 piece serving is enough to share).
Start with the Long Goodnight cocktail. There's so much amazingness on the food menu, but the fried tofu seafood hot pot, and soft serve dessert are all musts!
