Divert your eyes, veggie folks. This one's for those of us who take pleasure in devouring massively meaty meals.
There's a reason everyone and their mom is waiting for a table (and it's probably not b/c they dig the blaring Pantera). These burgers-in all their pretzel bunned, crazily topped glory-are the real deal. Ditto the mac & cheese.
Totally worth driving to the far reaches of the city (if necessary). The mac & cheese will haunt your dreams. Don't forget to BYOB.
It's all about the meat here, and I urge you to try anything & everything. Don't be scared off by odd-sounding pig parts or sea creatures like head-on prawns. Awesome beer selection too.
A stellar spot to watch the game (go upstairs for the projection screen) or drink al fresco. Come hungry because the food is both creative (kangaroo pops up on the menu) and tasty.
The perfect spot to step out of your comfort zone, thanks to fried gizzards, bbq frog legs, and pickled lamb tongue. Uber-friendly service just sweetens the deal.
It's always hoppin' here, and for good reason. Grass-fed burgers are juicy and well-priced. I love the bison burger too. Shakes are a must! Expect to wait on weekends.
I love having this place in the 'hood. The crew is nice (and accommodating) as can be, and the selection is always changing. Great sandwiches too.
