.....or not. At any rate, here are my favorite spots to hit up on ladies' night.
Biggest challenge here is saving room for dessert! Pastas are killer, brunch sandwiches rock, but sweets (hot choc, ice cream, tarts) a must
Intimate, highly dateworthy spot w/ vino aplenty & decent nibbles (get the yummy burger if ur ravenous). Staff & clientele can sport a 'tude
Veggie food so good that carnivores won't miss the meat. Try the awesome tamales and sliders, and make sure to down a house cocktail or two.
Chest-bumping bros are drinking their Bud Lights and missing out on some of the most phenomenal charcuterie and sandwiches in town.
The dining room at this Italian/French/other Euro mashup drips with luxe touches, bit menu is affordable. Try the house-milled flour in pizzas & pastas. Huge Belgian beer selection.
The Bluebird/Webster's Wine Bar crew knows it's wine...but they also cook up some killer grub. Stick to small plates, and try the frog legs if they're on the menu.
Bartenders are genius (and fun!) & can concoct potions tailored to your tastes. Plan to eat here & stick around for free cookies @ midnight!
Killer rolls, robusta (tofu!) & sweet staff who will customize w/o batting an eye. BYO keeps price down. Try the 100 Years Of Solitude maki.
Nothing about PV feels like a generic hotel resto. Everything is seasonal--and much of it comes from just across the street at Green City Market. A great special occasion spot. Wonderful cocktails.
Sheer perfection. Try the grilled tofu, soba noodles, and mochi for dessert. The daily draft cocktail is fun and affordable. Good pick for vegetarians.
One of the best things to ever happen on this stretch of Chicago Ave! Try the maguro pearls and Orange Rush.
Start with the Long Goodnight cocktail. There's so much amazingness on the food menu, but the fried tofu seafood hot pot, and soft serve dessert are all musts!
