When you're visiting the Happiest Place on Earth, it definitely helps to have a few great pointers whether you are going to feed the family, need a break, in need of some reprieve (and a drink!), or looking for some yummy restaurants off the beaten track.
While it's not the best food, their Happy Hour menu suffices when you want a Disneyland/CA Adv break. The burger is decent but my favorite is the Gospel Brunch. It's a trip back to the South with soul food and soul music.
This is a great place to take the kids - just be prepared to wait OR call in advance to get a reservation. The highlight is they are acutely aware of food allergies and are more than accommodating. My pick so far is actually the burger. Predictable and easy.
Located in the darkness of Pirates of the Caribbean, this is just sheer fun for the family. Kids feel like they've entered into a secret land. Order the jambalaya!
Fun for a children's birthday party - buffet style. Not the tastiest cuisine but it's worth the experience for the little ones who love Princesses. Each lunch they are visited by at least 4 Disney Princesses which is worth it - at least once.
This is a pretty decent Mexican restaurant. The choice is the steak enchiladas (you have to ask for steak) with red sauce. Their margaritas are also tasty and not light on the pour.
