Grab 'em Like They're Hot(cakes)

I've been a fan of West Egg for years. I stopped in for the first time in probably 2 years and I remembered that I have egg-celent taste.

Forget normal flapjacks here - splurge on the Dutch Baby or the Gigantic Super Famous Baked Apple Pancake.

Nookie's is a very appropriate name for this breakfast joint where lovebirds from Lincoln Park indulge in pancakes and eggs on Saturdays and Sundays after too much of the namesake the night before.

Sweet & charming Ina waits for you at the front desk cutting fresh sour cream coffee cake. The smell! What's not to love about this place?

The name is deceiving. Hot chocolate might make the best of their namesake, but this is also a really, truly awesome restaurant.

Let it be known that the Wrigleyville location of Uncommon Ground is FAR superior to the location further north.

Yolk is a Chicago favorite for good reason. Great eggs or egg whites. Pancakes or multigrain 'cakes. Something for everyone.

Meli is my favorite breakfast joint. From pancakes to egg whites, this place has it all. Be annoying and ask for PAM spray instead of butter, agave instead of syrup. They won't say no.
