Not all hotel's bars are tourist-only. These picks are worth stopping by for a snack or cocktail. (And be nice to the guide book-toting visitors--they're good for our economy.)
Super swank spot with inflated prices to match. Gripes aside, you can't top the view.
The Four Seasons' restaurant is top-notch. Don't expect generic hotel-fare--instead, it's locally sourced seasonal creations (and one downright delectable burger). The miso-butterscotch shake is a must.
Be bold & taste the wacky-sounding meaty plates; they're indulgent & delish. Dinner's always a zoo, so I love the dialed-down brunch.
Nothing about PV feels like a generic hotel resto. Everything is seasonal--and much of it comes from just across the street at Green City Market. A great special occasion spot. Wonderful cocktails.
A gorge building that's worth gawking at from both outside and in. Check out Filini, the Italian resto inside.
Hotel Lincoln's rooftop is a mecca of beautiful people (even locals!), fancy cocktails, and a killer view of Lincoln Park, the lake, and the skyline. Not too shabby.
