A guide to flaky butter biscuits in LA.
One of my favorite brunch spots in LA! The thick French toast is to die for and the fried chicken sandwich rivals Son of a Gun. There is generally a wait, but so worth it!
I've been going here for years, it is one of my favorite cafes. Get the biscuits with white gold honey for breakfast. For lunch any of their incredible sandwiches will do the trick. Don't forget dessert their seasonal fruit desserts are killer!
Jessica Koslow, the talented maven behind Sqirl jam and preserves, crafts the finest jams around. She perfectly captures the beauty of local produce into jams that can be enjoyed year round. Recently, her Virgil Village kitchen has become home to a pop up for G&B coffee. Now you can stop by the shop and enjoy a carefully crafted coffee alongside Koslow's inspired simple dishes ( buttery brioche with Sqirl jam, Kokuho rose rice porridge, malva pudding cake and more!).
One of the best new restaurants! The green beans with pork belly are the best. Don't miss their incredible bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuits with maple butter they are to die for. They also offer a great brunch on the weekends.
Tucked in the Pali Hotel, Hart and the Hunter offers a small menu of satisfying Southern food. The kale salad and black eyed pea soup are the perfect lunch. Their biscuits great any time of day.
