Who doesn't love grabbing a little frozen treat on a sunny summer day (or cold winter night, like me)? Join me as I take you along to some of Atlanta's favorite dessert shops
Frozen yogurt made using organic milk and other healthy ingredients.....yes please! If you see pineapple, taro or strawberry on the menu, be sure to fill your entire cup with those flavors!
Located in the heart of VA Highlands is an adorable little gelato shop called Paolo's. Be sure to get the stracciatella & millefiori gelato flavors, they're both delicious!
SunO is a one-of-a-kind dessert shop that originated in Duluth. Specializing in Asian shaved ice desserts, they're one of my favorite shops in GA! From shaved ice to crepes to bubble tea, you can't go wrong with anything here! My favorite SunO (play on the word Snow) flavors are Thai Tea, Green Tea, and Mango! Also, try out their oreo or thai tea milkshakes!
If you live in Atlanta and have yet to see those rainbow umbrellas sprinkled throughout town, that must mean you've never had a KoP popsicle. With flavors like Georgia peach, pineapple habanero and pomegranate margarita, these artisan treats are delicious & combine unique ingredients!
What's not to love about Frosty Caboose? It's a little ice cream shop housed in a red train car by the train tracks with an extensive variety of ice flavors, sundaes and more. Be sure to order the Orient Express Sundae-their green tea ice cream is the BEST I've had!
If frozen yogurt isn't for you, Cowlicks also specializes in floats using their housemade frozen yogurts and a soda machine for your convenience. I love their strawberry flavor-creamy and delicious & the cookie dough chunks!
Whether you're in the mood for some bubble tea, ice cream or a savory snack, Lattea has it all. Their house special black tea, pineapple boat ice cream & fruit smoothies are all fantastic choices!
I eat frozen yogurt more than any person I've ever met-something about the fruity flavors and endless colorful toppings, I feel like a kid in a candy store. My all-time favorite froyo spot is Yogurtland, a chain that originated in Anaheim, CA. Thank goodness it's finally come to Atlanta-be sure to stop by and fill up your cup!
Primo's a wonderful addition to the Johns Creek area. With over 20+ flavors of Italian ices and an interior decor that resembles the Italian flag, you'll feel like you're in Italy. The watermelon and cookies and cream flavors are the best!
