Here's a guide that'll show you around to some of the most popular restaurants around the French Quarters
Big Fisherman offers some of the best broiled seafood around & at extremely affordable prices! I wish they had indoor seating though, especially if you're car-less :(
You can't come to NOLA & not stop by Cafe du Monde-it's a staple & they're open 24/7! The beignets are piping hot and fresh & topped with a generous amount of powdered sugar-delish!
While the service leaves a lot to be desired, the taster's plate with fried chicken, coleslaw and rabbit & sausage jambalaya was great!
Be sure to order their delicious lemon meringue tart from the dessert case-it's one of the BEST I've ever had!
If you're ever in NOLA, stop by Galatoire's for their chicken clemenceau & their banana bread pudding and sweet potato cheesecake! I've also heard the turtle soup here is to die for
Looking for an affordable and delicious breakfast spot in New Orleans? Camellia Grill is your answer! The employees go above and beyond to make you feel like family & the food is incredible-the Mexican omelette and pancakes are great!
Looking for some of the freshest seafood in town? Well, look no further because Bourbon House's specialty is seafood-be sure to order the Fruits De Mar & the oysters trio! The Bienville is the best! :)
Lesson: Take a taxi here if you're coming from the French Quarters, do NOT walk! CB has become a favorite of mine in NOLA-with amazing sandwiches, baked goods and house-cured meats, everything about this place is fantastic. Be sure to buy a bottle of their addicting sweet potato habanero hot sauce!
Located in the heart of Jackson Square, Stanley's is more than just a tourist stop! The soft shell crab eggs benedict is killer-if you're ever in NOLA during the summer, their snoballs are amazing! Add condensed milk for a sweet touch
Beautiful cakes, chocolates, baked goods, gelato & sundaes. I highly recommend their delicious macaron sundae-Chef Tariq Hanna is a pastry genius!
Two words: Charbroiled Oysters! If you come to Drago's and don't speak of those two words, you're making a big mistake. Some of the BEST oysters smothered in garlic and cheese and grilled smack dab in the center of the kitchen!
Just a short walk from Cafe du Monde is Central Grocery-home of the muffaletta sandwich! Trust me, their muffaletta is the BEST I've ever had! That's to be expected though, they created it!
