Gwinnett is well-known for its abundance of Korean BBQ restaurants sprinkled throughout the area. With so many options, it's hard to choose just one place. Well, here's a guide that'll take you around to some of my favorites!
Cho Won is the OG of KBBQ in Duluth. With traditional hot foods on one side of the buffet, raw meats and banchans on the other side and a sushi bar on one end, they've got plenty of options for everyone-talk about the whole package!
Located in the H-Mart shopping center, Chung Dam offers one of the best "Royal Sets" around, perfect for large groups. In addition to their KBBQ (not AYCE), they offer an extensive variety of traditional Korean stews, soups, noodles and more!
Honey Pig offers both AYCE & a la carte items-the oversized dome-shaped grill covers a majority of the table, but cooks a lot! The kimchi and signature honey pig pork belly are the real winners here!
For $14.99, it's a pretty good deal for AYCE beef brisket and pork belly. While they don't offer radish or rice wraps, their pork belly is thick cut, juicy and delicious! And if you order some soju, it's only $9.99!
Iron Age is one of my favorite AYCE (All You Can Eat) KBBQ restaurants in Atlanta. They now have two options: 1.beef brisket + pork belly or 2. everything that comes in #1 plus 4-5 additional meats (2 is the better deal!). My favorite is the garlic pork belly! Be sure to ask for fried rice at the end & enjoy the loud and lively environment!
In addition to a la carte items off of their menu, Song Do offers three AYCE options, ranging from Ruby to Silver to Gold (low to high). There's even a banchan (side dish) bar with over 10+ kinds & you can refill them to your heart's desire. The bulgogi here is stellar!
Seorabul is one of my family's favorites! Their combo meals are great, their kalbi is tender and marinated perfectly and their hot boiled fish is the standout winner here! Also, try out the bossam (steamed pork)-it's delicious!
Well Bean offers some of the BEST tofu soup & combos in Atlanta! My personal favorites are the curry tofu soup and seafood tofu soup-you can't go wrong with anything from here.
At 678, there are three different AYCE options ($14.99, $25.99 and $29.99) and combos for larger groups-what's more unique is the way their grill! The meats are cooked in the charcoal center, while an egg custard is poured along the sides in addition to sliced kimchi and garlic. Great service too!
If you're on a tight budget and looking for a meal that'll fill you up, stop by Star Daepo & order their AYCE beef brisket and pork belly for only $9.99-it's a great deal and plenty of food!
