A shopping guide to Andersonville
Grew up on getting shoes here. Fairly priced and helpful sales folks.
One of my favorite toys shop growing up. Great staff knowledgeable about toys for children of all ages. I remember spending hours in here as a kid.
Great place to get hard to get Mediterranean groceries. Olives, spices and delicious baked sweets.
Fantastic Persian store to get all the spices you need for a feast. The smell of the store is fantastic.
True to the heart of Andersonville, this Scandinavian grocer stocks all the specialties imported from Sweden. The owner is ridiculously friendly & knowledgeable of her stock.
I WANT ALL THE POSTERS HERE! The stationary & cards are so unique & fun. They also do framing too.
To Much Light Makes the Baby Goes Blind is one of the best shows you can watch in Chicago. $9 + a roll of a die is what you pay for up to 30 plays in 60 minutes. It can be funny, serious or just plain weird. Either way, it's a GREAT time. Be prepared to stand in line, admission is first come first served.
Amazing vintage shop that makes you wish had all the money in the world to buy their amazing items. From cameras, glassware, furniture and everything in between, definitely a store you want to check out, buy & perhaps keep your wallet at home.
Quite the eclectic store that everyone should check out at least once. Definitely worth a look.
Organic local grocer that brings in locally grown produce to sell to the neighborhood. Think of a summer's farmer's market only indoors, extended hours & all year round.
If dogs had money & could buy things, this would be their toy store & candy shop. So many awesome things for all dogs & their pets.
