Year round fun. Ride the rides in the spring & summer, look on their website for BOGO ride bracelet days. Roller skate year round in their historic roller rink. Also fun for kids or adult parties, I love a reason to put on my leg warmers and channel Olivia Newton-John and Xanadu

If you've rolled all your loose change and now wonder: what can I do with this roll of nickels? Head to the Avalon theater and the wunderland nickel arcade where all the games run on, you guessed it - nickels! If you don't catch a bargain priced movie, you need to pay a small cover to go into the arcade. The games aren't the latest technology has to offer but it's a fun afternoon for the kids and kids-at-heart.

The west end now has it's own little scoop of sweet creamy heaven on SW 12th. Unique ice cream flavors, as well as, the favorite standbys the kiddos crave. Adorable shop complete with a pink mailbox that accepts ice cream flavor requests and the charming Ruby Jewel Scoops postcards that are pre-stamped for your convenience.
The entire course glows in neon bright colors and it's impressive not amateur. Birthday parties, team building, date night, fun-time-all-the-time. Some graphics may frighten little ones under 5. Prices are reasonable and a smart park is just around the corner
A great zoo with a new African lion exhibit. More baby elephants are born at this zoo than any other (27). Hop on the zoo train and exit at the Rose Gardens for a breath of fresh air & a gorgeous view, then take the next train back up to the zoo. Fabulous Christmas zoo lights display & summer concert series.
The signage out front is small so you need to really look for this aquatic adventure. Kids of all ages will like this touch and feel aquarium, the first time through, and kids 8 and under will love it multiple times. The nurse shark / sting ray feed & touch pool is great. Stick your hands in the water and feel the slimy skin of multiple sting rays glide across it. A small indoor climbing structure is inside the aquarium as well. Birthday parties and overnight parties can be hosted here. Lots to see at kids eye level.
