I'm not into the Paleo diet or the Atkins diet nor am I gluten intolerant. Meatballs have become the bell of the “ball” lately. And as any sought after bell knows, it's great to accessorize with a spicy touch or walk with a saucy little attitude but never does she feel like she needs a wet noodle hanging around her to compliment her curves. Here are some of my favorite places I go to admire this curvy, saucy little diva.
LISTEN TO ME- love Bastas!! Spaghetti and meats at it's purest and phenomenal! Quail and polenta what a delight, calamari not over cooked, excellent wine selection and cocktails. Inviting and warm atmosphere. Perfect place to cuddle up in a booth and enjoy soul satisfying food and conversation. Or sit up at the bar and engage in a lively conversation with the bartender.
Steak frites w/mustard sauce, fries & a basil gimlet make a tasty way to start off your night. Modern chic interior & service with a smile. Chocolate Mint after dinner drink and cream brulee wraps up your night nicely.
Great happy hour selection of tasty, inexpensive food. The lasagna, the meatballs and arugula salad were fantastic. The interior had an old world Italian restaurant feel with lots of red, accented by pink and black wrought iron and shimmering chandeliers.
A drink in their open lounge area is a sweet spot to catch up or unwind. The food is just as mouth -watering as it's big sister, Cafe Mingo, next door.
A large outdoor patio with 3 long rectangular fire pits set the mood for chill evening complete with good food, drinks and desserts worth the guilt. An ideal location to hit up pre or post show at the Keller.
The lamb gyro with greek salad is a lunch fav of mine. The hummus plate and meatballs are runners up. Great location, service & prices.
Industrial meets stylish pizzazz describes this upscale eatery. Spiced Oregon Albacore Tuna paired with crab creamed corn, fantastic. Duck Meatballs smothered with just the right amount of orange gremolata sauce, delicious. Some signature cocktails are barreled and served on tap. Try one, you'll be happy you did.
Moist, flavorful and juicy balls. Chicken& Parmesan, pork, vegan - and don't forgot to look at the chalkboard for the "ball of the day". Hero's, panini's, pasta or a la carte - these meatballs rock.
Pork, the other white meat served in so many deliciously-creative & satisfying sandwiches. Be sure to add dirty fries: fries topped with peppers & pork bits!
