Atlanta has a ton of steak houses; this list will help you sift through the clutter
The quintessential old school Atlanta steakhouse that serves all the traditional sides like creamed spinach and baked potatoes; this is a must visit for anyone who loves steak.
In my opinion, Hal's has the best steak in town and has one of the most lively bar scenes around. It can get a little loud, but it's fun, and the people watching is amazing...especially at the bar; think sugar daddies on the prowl!
This maybe a chain joint, but the cuts of meat are great and it's a good optio for those ITPers not wanting to make a haul to Buckhead.
Great service and juicy cuts of beef; the ribeye and mashed potatoes are my two choices when I don't care about my cholesterol intake!
Great atmosphere, service and an amazing double porter house and cowboy cut ribeye. They also have a lot of non traditional steakhouse sides like baked escargot and Asian meatballs!
Great veal chops and hearty cuts of beef with an Italian flare; they also have a pretty solid wine list with some nice selections from Piedmont.
Great atmosphere, space and service! Go for the filet and their great bourbon!
More of an expense account business crowd at Chops, but they still serve up some great cuts of cow and really do service right.
