If you ever happen to be in Tennessee and in Nashville or Chattanooga, here are some MUST eat places that are worth the wait and hassle to dine here. From meals to sweets and treats, these places will make your vacation even more enjoyable.
Stop by River Street Deli for any of their amazing sandwiches and eat them by the riverside-the view there is jawdropping!
Stop by Clumpies for some delicious ice cream served in an adorable environment! The cookies and cream here is my favorite!
Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, you can't help but notice the line of people waiting outside for some delicious ice cream-the pumpkin & strawberry ice cream are my favorite flavors here!
Aretha Frankenstein's is a hidden gem in Chattanooga. Located in a tiny neighborhood, finding parking and waiting for seating is a bit difficult but it's completely worth it! Be sure to order their shrimp and grits, famous pancakes & waffle of insane greatness.
Housemade ketchups and sauces aren't the only thing here at Good Dog. Their sausages and hot dogs are killer! Be sure to try the chicken sundried tomato sausage with all the fixins'
Amazing donuts made in an equally adorable vintage shop? Yes, please! The banana split and apple crisp donuts here are NOT to be missed!
If you're looking for gourmet/artisan ice cream made with local and organic ingredients and tons of unique flavor, Jeni's is calling your name! Some of my favorites are their brown butter almond brittle, brambleberry crisp and sweet potato with torched marshmallows.
I cannot tell a lie, Cori's has some of the BEST hotdogs I've ever had. Served on thick buttered toast, there are over 40+ varieties you can have your "dog" topped. Be sure to try out the Boston "hottie" version with an Italian sausage!
a MUST in Nashville! The Pharmacy serves up some of the best bratwursts and burgers in the city & there's even homemade soda phosphates using their vintage soda rails & an outdoor beer garden!
Hot Chicken is a signature Nashville dish & Hattie B's serves up a mean and tasty version of it! Try it out mild first, but if you're a heat seeker, I'd try the Shut The Cluck Up-YUM!
