There's a reason everyone and their mom is waiting for a table (and it's probably not b/c they dig the blaring Pantera). These burgers-in all their pretzel bunned, crazily topped glory-are the real deal. Ditto the mac & cheese.

Delectable fried chicken and sides (try the corn pudding!) at lunch and dinner. Killer brunch too: Try the hearty pulled pork hash...then take a nap.

Totally worth driving to the far reaches of the city (if necessary). The mac & cheese will haunt your dreams. Don't forget to BYOB.

Hot dog heaven! Super-fun staff delivers some crazy delish dogs. The turdoggen is their signature and a prime pick for adventurous first-timers. Nothing's finer than their pillowy brioche buns.

Can't contain my love for the dreamiest gelato on earth. Best ingred's & inventive flaves (esp Mexican choc & banana fudge) ever. Cash only.

Let the sweet-as-pie owner guide you to BBQ nirvana. Opt to make your meat (pulled pork is my fave!) into a sandwich and load up on the custom sauces. Grab whatever dessert is being featured on your way out.

The Four Seasons' restaurant is top-notch. Don't expect generic hotel-fare--instead, it's locally sourced seasonal creations (and one downright delectable burger). The miso-butterscotch shake is a must.

Hard to find words to describe how great the sandwiches are here! Menu rotates, but try the meatball if possible. Great deli case for dinner, picnic,etc. Killer burgers on Tuesday nights.

By far the most adorable storefront in the city. Plan to Bring your laptop & stay awhile. Pies are great, of course, but do NOT overlook the buttery biscuits.

This is a dinner spot to most, but brunch is a thing of beauty. Love the Greek yogurt panda cotta and the popcorn grits!

I love having this place in the 'hood. The crew is nice (and accommodating) as can be, and the selection is always changing. Great sandwiches too.
