Sam's is the perfect next choice for great BBQ in east Austin when a 3-hour wait at Franklin doesn't cut it. Sam's doesn't look like much from the outside but the brisket and ribs leave BBQ lovers full and satisfied.
Holy yum. I knew the BBQ was good, but the breakfast tacos are some of the best. Try the brisket, egg and cheese!

My favorite place to indulge. I've eaten the Frito Pie the last 4 times I've been and it's the dish I look forward to every time! The bar is a great spot to eat and catch live music that's sure to impress!!!
Almost everyone will argue that Franklin has the best brisket in town. If you want to try it, be willing to wait up to 3 hours. Starting at 9 am because they usually sell out by 11! This is no joke. But it will be worth it.
