So few places still have that edgy grit and cheap drinks that these lovely dive bars do.
This is a replica of your high school buddy's basement where you played pool, sneaked beer, played Pacman and if you were lucky enough... by the end of the night, you would be playing tonsil hockey with your crush on the couch.
This is a staple bar in the East Village that possess all the great aspects one craves in a dive bar. Pool table - check. Cheap drinks - check. Good Jukebox - check again. Cute folks to flirt with - Check check check!
I love a place that hasn't changed its decor in over a decade. These kinds of bars a dying breed and it's our job to keep them alive! If you like grit, pool, cheap booze and live music, this is your bar.
If you know about this bar, then you already have earned 10 points with me (not that this means anything to you). Where else can you get drunk for under $20.00 these days?
My advice would be to go here during the week. It's super fun and chill and it seems everyone else thinks so too. This is the problem with great bars... they are packed on weekends. After all, you don't wanna wait four hours to play Foosball.
