Your food & dining guide for Chicago's North Center neighborhood.
Fantastic old school Greek diner. Come here for good greasy cooking before, at the end of the night out or the next morning. Eggs, burgers or the experience itself.
Great old neighborhood bar with friendly staff and just a great place to drink and grab a bite. Fun outdoor seating for a few brews on a summer evening.
Come for football (soccer), stay because of the curry fries.
Extremely generous portions. Sundaes are definitely sharing size. Ice cream & the chocolate is what you'd expect to find in heaven.
LOVE GLENN'S. Not your typical diner because it has ridiculously fresh fish delivered each day. But if you're more a breakfast person, their corn beef hash or biscuits & gravy is beyond lovely. Plus, there's no shame having some milk & cereal from their cereal wall.
Great burgers, but also try the dirty drunk.
Great beer & whisky selection. The food is superb too. Love the monkey bread.
Julius Meinl is not your typical coffee shop. Their endless cup of coffee (w/ biscuit & cream) is one of the best things they have to offer. However, it's not the only thing. Their food here is superb. From their Austrian sandwiches and baked eggs, to their ever changing selection of baked goodies, this is a place one must visit frequently.
Great thin crust pizza and fantastic draft choices.
