How to make the most of our beloved neighbors just 3 hours south! This is one amazing town who takes their food and drink seriously. Best enjoyed mid week to avoid the inevitable wait in lines. But totally worth it if you do find yourself standing shoulder to shoulder with a grumbling belly waiting for a meal at Tasty and Sons!
It's not a deli, it's a culinary emporium! Dine in, luxurious retail housewares and foods to go. Great place to find gifts for your foodie friends, or yourself!
This should be your last stop before heading back to Seattle. Yup, tax free booze means even more to us now. Best selection in town, friendly & knowledgeable staff and its block from the freeway entrance!
As a seattlite the name is misleading, then add the Rexall Drug sign and I'm stumped. But thankfully, Stumptown is lovingly brewed and poured here! Now add a sunny spring day, killer blueberry muffin and a table outside and I'm in heaven! Best kind of high really.
Worth a trip to PDX just to visit Cargo. Filled with treasures galore from all parts of the world. Impossible to not fall in love with everything!
I've loved this artsy fashion shop from day one. Many local designers, affordable priced and accessories galore. Its hard to leave empty handed!
This is porn for food & cocktail enthusiast. The most extensive finishing salts, service & tastings I've ever seen. A wall of exotic chocolates and caramels that will make you drool. But wait, there's more: a tasting bitters and aperitif selection to rival any and fresh laid eggs. You'll be quivering too!
It's hard for this Jew not to get giddy over just their bagels! If you're a latke lover and can't wait for a holiday then they've got your remedy! Sandwiches and smoked pastrami rule here but a nice lox plate puts a smile in my belly!
Ethnic twists on my favorite meal, breakfast. With dishes like burmese pork stew and hard to find shakshuka, I could spend a week tasting this tasty menu! But if you are in the mood for a sausage and egg sandwich they have that fir you too!
Meat lovers rejoice! This place struck a home run ~ loved the food, space, service and cocktails. No reservations but they have a great cocktail bar next door at the Atelier to keep you happy while you wait!
Love rum? Then head to Portland's best Tiki Bar! Delicious cocktails with all the fixin's. killer food and a newly added Sunday brunch and you'll never have to leave! Best escape for winter blues PDX could ask for!
Classic modern fare with a NW twist. Wood dominates and embodies much of this experience. A huge painting pays homage to the leveled forests of our region. In the kitchen, a huge wood fired stove glows warmly upon the dining room. Finally, wood is the vehicle to showcase the food. Do Not Miss the Parker house rolls!
If you love nature deconstructed, you MUST visit Paxton Gate! Books, Bones, specimens in jars, jewelry, art, precious stones, treasures galore....plus a terrarium section with bromeliads and carnivorous plants. I would live here if I was closer!
Supper comfy and plenty of street parking at night so you can skip the pricy valet service. Yummy food close and pearl district just a stones throw, I'd return if just for the killer pillows!
As a rum lover this place rocks! Spot on cocktails without the fluff. It's all about delivering a great product without the prevention typically found at a cocktail bar if this caliber! Refreshing and delicious!
Too Many wonderful things about this new south end kick ass Portland restaurant & bar. Delicious food, knowledgeable bar program and the space hugs you with it's warmth!
