I love mom and pop's sandwich store because you can get both quality ingredients and service. Something about eating Subway or Quizno's doesn't sound appealing. Chicken pesto sandwich is the best! Don't substitute the white for wheat because they make it perfect combination!
Deli & bakery in one. You can get your lunch and have dessert without having to change locations. They are super fresh and have great selections in deli meat. You can't beat the prices either. The small is about $4 (a bit smaller than a 6") and the large is about $5 (a bit smaller than a 12"), way better quality than Subway.
This place is ALWAYS busy and the parking can be a headache but it's worth the trouble. The Godmother is a must try, but I love that I can pick and choose my meats and cheeses depending on my taste buds for the day. Adding a side of macaroni salad may be a good idea.
Great option for a quick bite during school. Healthy sandwiches such as turkey on wheat, egg salad and salads.
Two things on the menu that must be eaten : SOB - spicy salami, roasted chicken breast, onions, lettuce, tomato, mustard and mayo all on a fresh sub & Meatball sandwich
BEST tuna salad sandwich I've ever had. Something about mom and pop shops, they always make the best sandwiches. You'd never guess at a donut place, but I know a delicious sandwich when I taste one. Buy one to eat and another to eat later, you won't regret it.
They have everything from breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, burgers, wraps, salads and a variety of bottled soda. Some you probably haven't seen in ages. They get busy so make sure you make your visit at the right time. They make fresh made to order sandwiches to your liking.
I love that they use Boar's head and their service is quick. If you must try one sandwich, you must try the Godfather. All their other ones are good as well. You can make one however you like or get one that's designed to perfection. You make the choice.
