The city's best meatballs.
Want a perfect GNO, date nite or dinner w the fam? Quartino is yr place. Small plate Italian w BOTTLES of wine under $14, this is perfection
You know this place is good because Frances Fiorentino will greet you at the door. Her stuffed gnocchi (yes, STUFFED gnocchi) are little, fluffy, pasta-y godsends.
After years of being told to go to Viaggio, I finally made it there last night and it is one of the top 2 Italian restaurants I've been to in Chicago in 11 years. Order the veal scaloppine or live to regret it.
Definitely go to RPM 4 the rockstar cocktail list especially the Lower Door, but don't go 4 the service. Even Mama DePandi would disapprove.
Best new restaurant in Chicago, and not just because Top Chef fan favorite Fabio is running the (very cute) ship. Their ENORMOUS kobe beef meatball is the size of your head and to-die-for, and all of the pasta, especially the sweet, amaretto-filled tortelloni deserve major accolades.
