Candler Park hosts some of my favorite Atlanta festivals including Fall Fest & the Sweetwater Brewery festival. I head there year round for the fun independent shops along McLendon Avenue.
A notch above your typical convenience store, Candler Park offers a great selection of groceries and gourmet items including craft beer & wine, sodas (I buy Blenheim's ginger ale here), and a deli with counter service in the rear.
A fun breakfast and lunch spot that serves my favorite pancakes in town with sweet potatoes. They flip to a "Gato Arigato" Japanese menu on select evenings
Casual spot located in a charming old service station serving Latin cuisine from burritos to paella
There's plenty of debate surrounding their biscuits but I love their pasta, sausage & eggs dish, accompanied by their creamy grits
No fancy Italian ovens here, just good greasy American style pies with plenty of outdoor seating. I'm a fan of their white pizza
An excellent gourmet market with a full deli case, beer & wine, local specialty products and full meals to go.
