Just outside of downtown, the Old Fourth Ward has been a favorite of mine for some time and these spots are a few of my favorites
A bit different from your typical brunch, Cafe 458 is only open for Sunday brunch and all proceeds benefit the homeless charity Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency. My favorite item on the menu is their smoked salmon benefit. Feel free to tip generously as all gratuity supports the cause as well
This Japanese restaurant serves a variety of small plates, my favorites being the soy egg & kakuni bun. Get there early ramen for lunch Tuesday-Friday
One part restaurant with amazing drinks, another part late night club with the city's foremost house DJ's, there's always a party going on here. The oxtail tacos & steak tartare are my go-to choices on the menu
Order up front and head to the dining room or bar in the back for a glimpse into the open kitchen while you wait for your pie. Pizzas are inspired by Naples-style pies but they feel free to change it up wherever they see fit, right down to the glitter pizzas available for kids.
Noni's is a fun Old Fourth Ward restaurant specializing in Italian sandwiches and pastas. My go-to selection is the farfalle with pancetta cream sauce. Stay tuned to their social media sites for details on late night dance parties
