My perfect lunch always involves pastrami, rye bread and an ice-cold Dr. Brown's cel-ray soda.
Sandwich, soup and fries and a soda is my usual order from Factor's.
Their pastrami on rye is legit. And their chicken noodle soup is exactly what you need on cold days. Also, the bar attached is a fun little place to go for a drink.
Matzoh ball soup is the thing to order here. When I lived just up the street, I'd do a to-go of just that soup late at night. It was perfect.
Order the number 19. It's all you'll need. Thin-ish slices of pastrami with cheese and cold slaw, all on rye bread that is perfectly toasted. The best deli sandwich in LA. Period.
Pretty iconic restaurant in Los Angeles. I recommend the turkey sandwich on rye. Pretty tasty!
