There's plenty to love on West Town's/Ukie Village's main artery.
THE place for boots (not just straight-up cowboy, but Frye too!) in the city. Love the old-school vibe & staff. Free pkg lot across street.
There's so much to love here that I don't know where to start! Friendly bartenders, a cute courtyard & Tues trivia night are just a few reasons why I'm a regular.
One of my very faves! Perfect neighborhood spot w/ simple, classic food. Go Mon for fried chicken special. Dessert (banana cream pie) a must
Sheer perfection! Seasonal fruit pies are top-notch & banana cream is out of this world. Strong coffee, amazing scones too. Mini pies too!
A standout amongst a slew of West Town vintage shops. Well laid-out & easy to shop. Cool trinkets & fab tshirt selection. Staff a bit cold.
Ain't pretty but does the trick. Cheap beer, decent wine selection, and the all-important bag of ice on hand. Don't expect much service-wise
The "wow" factor is sky-high @ this rooftop stunner (enter through Roots Pizza). Your meal comes mostly from the "prairie" (read: garden) in front of you--talk about fresh! Cocktails are showstoppers.
Vintage-loving ladies drool over pretty prints and fun, 60s-style frocks. Solid selection of heels & clutches too. Opens @ noon, closed Mon.
Cool concept w/ retail & lounge combo. Staff incredibly helpful. Bottles fit all budgets. Lounge has great vino, but nibbles lack oomph.
Best no-nonsense jumbo slices in the 'hood. One piece'll do ya! Combo deal w/ a soda is a steal. Italian ice is grainy & disappointing.
Killer rolls, robusta (tofu!) & sweet staff who will customize w/o batting an eye. BYO keeps price down. Try the 100 Years Of Solitude maki.
Best neighborhood bar/resto in Ukie Village. Pizzas break the mold w/ toppings, mozz stix BEST ever, salads enormous & fresh. Big beer list.
A glorious hole in the wall with some darn good franks (opt for the slightly smoky Polish). Portions are hefty, price is right, and service is ultra-relaxed. Love the pup-friendly outdoor seating.
