Ever since Kogi Korean BBQ food trucks in Los Angeles started offering Korean/Mexican "fusion" tacos, they've launched a food revolution, eventually making its way to Atlanta. While the trend doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon, these are some of my favorite restaurants offering the ever-so-popular fusion tacos here in Atlanta!
Popular amongst GT students, Hankook Taqueria offers delicious, affordable tacos filled with an abundance of Korean-style marinated meats. The calamari & spicy pork tacos are the best, as is the bulgogi nachos!
Yumbii's has been making some seriously delicious waves among the Atlanta food truck scene serving up, yes you guessed it, Korean fusion tacos! The pulled pork tacos & sesame fries are heavenly!
Blossom Tree is one of the newer Atlantan restaurants offering Korean fusion tacos & rice plates-try the short rib and calamari tacos and the chicken bibimbap!
In the heart of Little 5 Points, OMG Taco will make your taste buds scream "OMG!" once you try their signature fries & fresh fish tacos!
Takorea is the fancier, more upscale version of Hankook Taqueria. With its eclectic decor and full service bar, be sure to take advantage of their specials and order the BLK, bulgogi and calamari tacos!
MJ's is easily my favorite place in Atlanta when I'm craving fusion tacos! The spicy pork, steak & panko fish tacos are simply amazing, but their parmesan garlic fries take home the crown as they're highly addictive and melt-in-your-mouth delicious-just a little FYI!
