Who said Atlanta was the only place to get amazing Indian fare? Here's a guide to show you some of my favorite Indian restaurants OTP that are worth the drive to check out! :)
Palace was the first Indian restaurant I had ever dined at-over a decade later, they continue to serve consistently delicious dishes and a mean lunch buffet. Be sure to order their tandoori chicken and yummy fruit salad!
While Las Colinas has long been closed, Moksha Kitchen, an casual Indian fast food restaurant has opened in its place and is serving a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine. The lamb vindaloo, saag paneer and chicken lollipops here are the best!
Located less than a mile away from the Jimmy Carters Blvd exit and in a discrete shopping center, Raj Ratan offers an extensive Indian menu-my favorite item is their butter chicken. Ask for it to be made extra spicy!
Royal is one of my favorite Indian restaurants offering daily lunch buffets-the goat curry, seafood curry and tandoori chicken are all items you can find on their changing menus. Don't miss out on the dosas and uttapams too!
Want a dosa bigger than your head? Come to Udipi Cafe! With over 15+ varieties of dosas alone in addition to a variety of other vegetarian dishes, even meat lovers will rejoice here. The jaipur paneer dosa is wonderful!
4 words: Delicious, inexpensive & generous portions! What more could you want? Order the chicken kabob roll, chicken tikka or chana masala-you can't go wrong with any of those!
While Rajbhog Cafe is known for the Indian street snacks and desserts, they make a mean paneer and butter chicken. And if your tummy allows, take home some gulab jamun & other pastries!
Since moving from their previous location, Poona offers a fabulous lunch buffet and terrific service. The tandoori chicken and freshly baked naan are a wonderful combo!
Come to Chopstix if you're looking to try something other than your typical South Asian cuisine-here, you'll find beef manchurian, szechuan tikka and tasty paneer pakoras. Give them a chance & try them out!
Although a fairly new addition to the Duluth area, this family-run business serves up some of the best Indo-Pak cuisine in town. The chicken 65, biryani and butter chicken are delicious. They also offer a lunch buffet that's highly worth checking out!
