Love the Eggplant Parmesan and imported foods. Always busy at lunch and on weekends. Angelinos become pushy New Yorkers here.
You can smell this store from outside...and that is a good thing! This is likely the best cheese store in LA. They have a huge variety to choose from, as well as anything you will want to add (crackers, breads, jams) on the side. It can be a pricey treat but worth it!
Venokado is one of those places that you will pass by if you don't look fast enough. It is a great spot to stop by on the way to a dinner party. You can pick up wine, cheeses or gifts for your host.
Hopefully Bottega Louie is a good sign for the future of DTLA. It's always busy and the food is great. Pastries are reminiscent of Laduree in Paris, which is no small compliment.
