When someone says the word "kosher" the first thought, after "hot dog", is probably "hmmm can't be that tasty". These restaurants prove that wrong. Who said you can't keep kosher and eat out? These restaurants have offerings that even gentiles won't notice are 100% kosher.
They have dozens of delicious pastries but I think their selling point is their chocolate chip pretzel challah! CHOCOLATE CHIP PRETZEL CHALLAH!!! I'll let that sink in with you. Just go get it!
I usually don't salivate when I hear the word "Kosher" in front of a restaurant, but this place manages to satisfy. Even my non-Jewish friends wanted to take home the left-overs.
Great for vegetarians. I'm a carnivore and don't even keep kosher and somehow I ended up full and satiated. Reason enough to come again with my PETA supporting friends.
Generous portions of delicious pastrami and other deli delicacies that totally bust the myth that us Jews are stingy.
Great options for vegetarians that are visiting the historic Farmers Market. The most addictive hummus in town!
One of the only fine dining kosher restaurants I know. Perfectly located near one of LA's best little movie theaters too.
I don't keep kosher, so I've had my share of pork sausages and Jeff's doesn't even make me miss the pig. The fries are also a great pairing that no fast food chain can beat.
I've been all over the middle east and Bibi's pitas are rival some of the ones I've had in Israel! Hands down one of my favorite LA "carb hubs".
Great Sephardic dishes that my Polish family could never emulate. I'm also addicted to their pita which isn't good since they keep serving it with complimentary salads until you get your food.
Reeks of carby and coffee awesomeness! Its fresh and I don't even feel like an obese whale after eating there.
