Beer is serious business, these places don't serve up Miller Lite--so don't ask, but they do have hand-selected, microbrewery beers that are worth trying.
Awesome selection of locally-brewed beers and nice staff. This place on a Friday night isn't miserably packed so it's safe to go on a weekend, for sure.
Not many people know this but in the back you can drink beer, wine and some of the best charcuterie in the city.
I love the burgers, but I love the corn pups even more. The batter--made from Anson mills cornmeal--result in the best corn dog you'll ever have. Oh and the house made cream soda is a dream.
Small tiny-teeny place to go grab a beer BUT cool. You're basically in the back room of their brewery. All the beers they have on tap are brewed in the next room and all of them are affordable too. On the weekends they have food trucks parked out back to ease your cravings.
This place is very family friendly. Their pizzas are solid and their beer list is really great, too.
This place is awesome. You have the option to take the beer to go, or have them open it for you and chill on the other side of the store. It's one part store, one part beer bar.
