There are plenty of places to booze outdoors. Lots of spots simply plunk chairs out on the sidewalk (which is just fine and dandy), but others have tucked-away or elevated gardens of drinkin'. Here are some of those gems.
There's so much to love here that I don't know where to start! Friendly bartenders, a cute courtyard & Tues trivia night are just a few reasons why I'm a regular.
One of the top beer geek destinations in the city is also home to some surprisingly good BBQ. Stop by for trivia night!
It's all about the ping pong here. But fear not if you're skill-less with a paddle--the outdoor beer garden and quirky crowd will keep you entertained.
There's a reason everyone and their mom is waiting for a table (and it's probably not b/c they dig the blaring Pantera). These burgers-in all their pretzel bunned, crazily topped glory-are the real deal. Ditto the mac & cheese.
Go for the rib-sticking Southern fare during the week (the mac & cheese is legendary) and for the busy bar action on weekends. The open-air summer scene is especially nice.
Fabulous craft beer list, but the real draw is the gorgeous, sprawling rooftop bar. Great grub to snack on too (try the monkey bread).
A dependable (if predictable) bbq bar/resto. Check out the pulled pork and mac n' cheese. Live tunes provide a fun atmosphere.
Shockingly awesome bar food, from the fancy popcorn to juicy burger & boozy Italian ice. Beer menu is top-notch, as is service. Lovely patio
You can't beat the charming outdoor space here. Small plates (mmm....poutine!) are mostly well-executed and cocktails are fab.
Oh, how I love sweet Maria's. A well-stocked front liquor shop (great for craft beer!) gives way to a stellar bar with one of the best beer lists in the city. Check out the back patio if weather allows.
