This is a hidden gem, just down the Harbor Steps near the Seattle Art Museum. The burning desire in the kitchen is to share foods they love and you can see the care that goes into dishes such as the outstanding housemade sausage with lentils as well as the porchetta. It's not all about the pig, though. Seafood is stellar, especially the pan-roasted black cod. An excellent late-night happy, too.

This is the turf to that surf, celebrating charcuterie and craft cocktails, it's a terrific way to start your evening. Feel like sticking around? Well, there are all sorts of interesting flatbread-style pizzas to munch on and assorted salads, too. In other words, Bar Cotto is a very cool place to hang out.
