Soon Tofu hot and spicy jjigae (Korean stew) dish made with uncurdled dubu (tofu), seafood (oysters, mussels, clams and shrimp are common ingredients), vegetables, mushrooms, onion, scallions, and gochujang or gochu garu (chili powder) in Korean cuisine. The dish is assembled and cooked directly in the serving vessel, which is typically made of thick, robust porcelain, but can also be ground out of solid stone. A raw egg is put in the jjigae just before serving, and the dish is delivered while still bubbling vigorously. This dish is eaten with a bowl of cooked white rice and several banchan (side dishes). It is widely eaten and one of the favorite meals in South Korea. Find the locations and see which restaurant you like the best.
Great place to go for a late night, early morning meal.
It is hidden in a corner of a small strip mall located in Ktown. They specialize in hot tofu soup (Soon Tofu). They also have other things if you want a combo, like Bulgogi (barbecued Korean Style Beef), short ribs, pork, chicken etc.
A ton of food for $16.99/person. The quality was honestly not bad at all for AYCE.
They give you a fish as a banchan, and unlike BCD tofu, the sides are a-plenty and of good quality overall. There are standard lunch and dinner deals with soup/meat.
Their soon tofu is the cleanest and their service is impeccable. They have a complimentary soft serve machine next to the register counter that you can partake in after your meal.
Great place for munchies late night!
Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They have everything you would want from Korean food.
Not as busy as the other KBBQ locations but still provides quality cuts of beef. Sliced Prime Rib is my favorite!
The Pork Ribs here are fabulous. Tender and juicy, I can't remember the last time that I enjoyed ribs this much.
