With its artisanal drink selections, including small-batch tonic and seltzer, plus sandwiches, pastries, and some of the best cold-brewed coffee this side of the Atlantic, Cafe Grind is as twee as they come. But quiche, wraps, and soups stand out and the decor makes this a fine lunch spot away from beaten Midtown paths.
Can be frantic with suits in early afternoon, but later becomes perfect workspace w/wifi, strong coffee & yummy snacks (some gluten-free).
Pricey food, but here you're paying for the ambiance, including live jazz on select evenings -- and comfy couches perfect for lounging.
