We thought we'd never see the snow melt this year. Now that spring has finally sprung, we've all got frozen treats on the brain. Here's where to get your fix.
Swing in for a gratis chocolate and grab a surprisingly tasty chocolate-mint milkshake on your way out!
Worth a pilgrimage to Beverly at LEAST once a month in summer. Don't even consider veering away from the sky-high rainbow cone combo. You'll never finish your own, but you'll envy everyone around you if you order something else. (Yep, speaking from experience.)
Creamy, fattening custard just like they make north of the border (Wisconsin, that is!). Splurge on a blended "concrete"--the pb&j version is delectable.
Your inner child will do cartwheels when you walk into this whimsical scoop shop. Try the Lakeview Sunset or the seasonal flavor (mmm...pumpkin!). Tasty shakes too.
The original location of the local frozen kefir chain is still my favorite, thanks to its dog-friendly Division Street patio seating. They'll even give your pup a kefir sample if you ask!
Pretty sure you can't go wrong here, but the jibarito and the meatball sandwich are tops. End with a softserve topped with tasty baked goods from HotChocolate's Mindy Segal.
Can't contain my love for the dreamiest gelato on earth. Best ingred's & inventive flaves (esp Mexican choc & banana fudge) ever. Cash only.
They come for the burgers (amazing!) but they fall in love with the giant, hand-spun shakes (to die for). Be an insider and ask for the off-menu Elvis shake or Speculoos shake. You really can't go wrong.
It's always hoppin' here, and for good reason. Grass-fed burgers are juicy and well-priced. I love the bison burger too. Shakes are a must! Expect to wait on weekends.
