There's nothing I love more than finding a great cocktail bar complete with creative concoctions & tasty bites. Here are a few of my favorite Los Angeles watering holes.
AMAZING pupusas, oxtail stew and a cocktail bar that can't be beat. Delicious food and spiked horchata make this place an A+
New Chef Jonathan Peters absolutely elevates this already elegant space with a fresh and delicious menu that delivers on all fronts.
A sister location to their Eagle Rock brick & mortar, the Little Tokyo Spitz earns a few extra starts for hosting an excellent cocktail program using all fresh ingredients. Plus with the very reasonable price tag of $9 a pop these drinks pack a punch, making Spitz the perfect place to kick of a night at the Downtown Art Walk (or really any night you're looking for delicious food and incredible drinks.)
With an awesome cocktail program and the best happy hour in downtown this is a great place to start any night!
Gorgeous views accompany this very hip hotel and if you're looking for somewhere to rest your head in Long Beach, this is totally the place!
Excellent happy hour and be sure to order an empanada or two from the shop next door! They'll deliver it right to your bar stool.
Chef Jordan Kahn is a genius when it comes to plating masterpieces and each dish is more gorgeous than the last!
Their Cocktails certainly make me "Red Hot and Bothered" and their mussels will change your life. Just do yourself a favor and GO.
Kris Morningstar certainly has fun with his food at this fine dining slice of modernist art museum heaven! Plus they have a great cocktail program.
The Parisians have found a classy place to party at this newbie from the La Descarga crowd... fantastic cocktails and hot bartenders!
Housed in a former hardware store of the same name, Laurel is an extremely welcome addition to the West Hollywood food scene. With a rustic yet sophisticated design, this eatery is sure to turn heads with Chef Mario Alberto's flavorful menu. A personal favorite is their beet, burrata & fig salad with a slight tinge of yuzu for that oh so complex flavor!
Death by Duck is easily one of the best snack foods in Los Angeles and paired with a hand picked beer sampler this is one of the greatest bars in LA.
Go for the Black Manhattan Cocktails and stay for the hand-crafted Charcuterie!
Massive yet beautiful space with delicious food make this place great for a company dinner or a "parents in town" hot spot.
Amazing bone marrow & if you're nice to the bartenders they'll serve it up with a shot of Fernet! Plus the pork belly is a must try...
Very cool speakeasy hidden behind a working barbershop!
Chef Roy Choi brings his elevated street food to the next level with this Island influenced fare in a fantastic setting!
Deliciously fresh combinations dominate this low-key restaurant's menu and the friendly staff makes everyone feel at home.
Happy Hour until 8pm, Shuffleboard, Pool, GIANT JENGA and a bevy of attractive men? This is easily the best bar ever.
