When the weather's fine in Seattle, there's no better place to be than an al fresco spot with a water view. Whether it's overlooking stunning Elliott Bay, Lake Washington or Lake Union, these tasty venues do not disappoint.
A stellar spot for oysters, this seafood palace on the Seattle waterfront features dozens of bivalves from up and down the West Coast. If you're feeling lost, ask the savvy servers for guidance. The rest of the menu is filled with well-prepared dishes that showcase seasonal selections. The first run of halibut in the spring is a real treat and the kitchen does a fine job with salmon of every stripe. Sit outside during the summer months and watch the ferries come and go.
A great spot with one of the best outdoor dining areas in the Pike Place Market, a stunning view of Elliott Bay and the Olympics. The French menu is filled with the classics including a perfectly fine steak/frites and a Croque Madam that hits the spot. Make a reservation during prime dining hours.
You can't beat the location, right on the waterfront. Especially pleasant place to hang out on the deck on a summer's day. The wine list is stellar, especially when it comes to selections from Washington. Just wish the food was better and not so expensive.
Such a dynamite space, this seafood palace couldn't be any closer to the water. Warm weather means the outdoor deck is open, with the salty scent of Elliott Bay stirring your appetite for oysters, salmon, halibut and much more.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Pike Place Market neighborhood. Great food and prices and the location is terrific, too. Standouts include the daily specials, the crack-your-own crab and amazing meat from the rotisserie. You cannot make a bad choice on the dessert menu. It's all good.
Flavor with a capital flav! Love the latest from these ladies, leaders in the food truck revolution in SEA. Try the tacos, of course, but if you're a fan of sausage or/and kimchi, get the link that combines the two. It's so incredibly good. Fish and chips are awesome, too. Wonderful location in West Seattle with a knockout view of the city.
Right on Lake Washington, this steakhouse is prime-o! The beef is indeed prime, and priced accordingly. Come at happy hour and sit on the patio overlooking the marina. The view of Mount Rainier is spectacular.
