I think I'm not the only one that thinks there aren't enough weekends in a week. Here are some great places that will make your weekends spectacular and Mondays that much more worse cause you'll want it to be the weekend again.
Where else can you build a sand castle while waiting for your steak? Reminds me why I'm lucky to live in LA.
Such a great spot in the heart of Beverly Hills. They have great basket ball courts, baseball diamonds, and even lawn bowling! Yes, I'm totally not too young for lawn bowling!
One of LA's gems. Perfect for when I want to get my thighs in shape but still bring my dog along.
Although it may have a hipster reputation, it IS actually one of LA's cooler, slightly smaller music venues. A great place to discover up-and-coming bands that you might see at Coachella in a few years.
My favorite hiking spot in the LA area. Not too crowded and yet just minutes from the city. Kind of romantic too for an active date idea.
Great live music bar where you can actually have conversations with your friends (not deafening loud like other music venues). Great bar tenders too and I've never had to pay cover charge here either.
Awesome decor and fantastic sound system that attracts some of the hottest musicians in the city. Very sultry and sexy vibe that will impress anyone.
Actually decent music (rare in the hipster world) and cool vibe. Considering that it used to be a tranny lounge, I must say its gotten quite a make-over. Love the artwork they display.
Gorgeous! Makes me want to get married here and bathe in their lobster rolls. Seriously, I'd give it six stars if I could.
Hands, feet, and paws down my favorite lounge/bar in the LA area. Relaxing, cozy, and gorgeous. If only it wasn't so popular, the lines to get in are insane on weekends so I suggest going on a weekday so you'll get guaranteed entry.
BEST comedy venue in town! Big name headliners and even novices like myself perform here. Great beer and wine menu too incase you need the comedians to get funnier.
