I am a seasoned NYC Karaoke fanatic! So trust me when I tell you these places are the best! That's all I'm going to say. The rest speaks (or songs) for itself.
So what if there's no glitz and glamour here. This is the dive bar of karaoke joints and you're cooler for just knowing it exists. Tucked away in a secret alcove street in China town, bring your close friends and some cash and you will stay here all night long.
If you're willing to hang out, drink and leave your impatience behind, then this place can really satiate your inner rock star. Set in the East Village, it's small and quaint, but when you get a chance to sing... you might as well be in front of 2000 screaming fans at MSG!
I am a karaoke freak and this place is freakishly, freakin' amazingly perfect! Lounge sofas, huge screens and the occasional live saxophone player mixed with a bottle of Soju makes for the perfect night.
Eat, drink, sing, dance and go insane while you're belting out every 80's classic you can get your drunk little hands on! This is what a night of karaoke is all about!
A perfect night starts with some Korean BBQ and a quick hop over to this place. Whether you're rehearsing for your next American Idol audition or simply getting drunk and making a fool of yourself, you will leave here buzzing with adrenaline. That, my friends, is why humans should do karaoke.
I am a karaoke freak and when I came here, my freak got a little bit larger. Not only is their food insanely delicious, but every Tuesday night you can sing karaoke live!!! That's right! Be the front man/woman to the rockin' Rock ‘N Twang Live Band! I love NYC, because you can hop into places like these and be in the south.
Other than being the place where my husband and I professed our love to each other for the first time, this place transforms all you shower singers into Mick Jaggers and Byonces. The private rooms are the key here.
Whenever I get a chance to get to Williamsburg, I make damn well sure my friends and I are going here for the night! Get here early and you'll have no problem getting your songs up. Get here late, and you best be drunk and patient, cause your vocal cords might not get usage for some time. But it's worth the wait!
If you have the time and money to karaoke bar hop in Korea town, this place is a must! If you don't leave here thinking you're the next Robert Plant or Jay Z, then something is wrong with your brain.
