No need to be a billionaire to get laid. Sure, a girl looks or a guy with a job or at least a trust fund, but not EVERY date needs to be expensive and lavish. These spots are either free or cost less than a fraction of an LA parking ticket!
Hands down, one of my favorite So Cal beached and a great surf spot. Love this spot for surfing because of the quality and amount of waves. Bring your long-board!
Perfect if you're in a mood for a throwback. This drive-in movie theater projects modern movies with admission that's 60% less than what a typical movie theater ticket might cost.
Can't believe such a lavish mansion is open to the public. I want my wedding here! Now get Ryan Gosling to propose and we're all set!
One of my favorite buildings in LA. My mom was an urban planner and used to take me there as a kid. Historic, classic, and not too far away from awesome Downtown LA restaurants.
Used to go running on this beach every week in the summers. Great, not too touristy crowd and lovely nearby restaurants.
Although it may have a hipster reputation, it IS actually one of LA's cooler, slightly smaller music venues. A great place to discover up-and-coming bands that you might see at Coachella in a few years.
My favorite hiking spot in the LA area. Not too crowded and yet just minutes from the city. Kind of romantic too for an active date idea.
Great coastal bike path for when you want that ocean breeze to hit you as you ride. Great for serious bikers as well as families and anybody on training wheels.
An awesome, inexpensive comedy venue that's got some big name drop-ins without the expensive cover charge of bigger comedy venues that are nearby.
Feel like you're ten again in this quirky, glow-in-the-dark mini golf course! No need to be Tiger Woods.
A great beach side park, picnic area, rec center, and even an awesome bike path. Bring a surf board too, its tempting to catch a wave!
A literal "sausage fest"! Fast service, delectable bratwursts and almost any kind of sausage imaginable, and open past midnight! If only they could tuck me in my bed after my food coma!
BEST comedy venue in town! Big name headliners and even novices like myself perform here. Great beer and wine menu too incase you need the comedians to get funnier.
