We aren't New York, but that's not to say we've got some awesome theaters around town. Some are classically preserved from the Art Deco era, others are small and intimate. Regardless, all are guaranteed to give you a fun night as they showcase the best plays, musicians, and comedians in town.
Hosts some of Broadway's most popular shows. The whole theater feels like a flashback to old school Hollywood when it was brimming with glamour and stars.
This classic Hollywood landmark is the perfect place to get your fill of history, architecture, and really awesome screenings. The indoor/outdoor areas are awesome and create a "not-too-stuffy" feel which theaters tend to do.
Cool little venue for Indie films and film festivals that provide great snack and comfy seating for make-out sessions.
Stunning architecture and truly one of the best theater venues in LA. Most seats have a great view of the stage and orchestra and the whole theater has wonderful acoustics. No matter what you go see there, you'll be amazed.
Great improv/sketch/acting school and comedy venue. Great and wallet friendly shows every day of the week too!
An awesome, inexpensive comedy venue that's got some big name drop-ins without the expensive cover charge of bigger comedy venues that are nearby.
This breathtaking art deco historical theater boasts some of the most incredible acts in town. Everything from the walls, to the ceilings, to the dangling chandeliers to the acoustics reek of awesome.
I've seen a few musicals, plays, concerts, and even award shows in this venue. Gorgeous, interiors that just reek of "old Hollywood glamour". Feels classy and historic.
BEST comedy venue in town! Big name headliners and even novices like myself perform here. Great beer and wine menu too incase you need the comedians to get funnier.
