Milkshakes are a great way to beat the summer heat in Atlanta. Check out some of my faves
You'll find the usual chocolate & vanilla here but go for their salted caramel, ginger lavender & East Indian Kulfi for a change of pace.
Delia's uses all natural Georgia chicken in crafting their chicken sausage for the whole menu. The restaurant is open 24 hours on Friday & Saturday and breakfast is served all day. My go-to sandwich is the Mother Clucker
Virginia-Highland's best patio & locally raised beef & veggies power this burger powerhouse
Scoops of ice cream from gourmet ice cream that's become a favorite featured in Dean & Deluca and Oprah's O Magazine. They've recently joined forces with NYC's Sunday Gravy for savory entrees made with their signature meat sauce
A tourist trap to some, a Varsity fried pie is one of my favorite sugary indulgences in the city
Caramel apples, chocolates. Fudge & homemade ice cream are just a small sample of the sweet treats available at this store in Atlantic Station.
The meat and three certainly isn't dead in Atlanta and this restaurant has all of the classics, from fried chicken to Mac & Cheese. If dine-in isn't your style, the attached To Go section allows you to bring their home cooked meals with you without the wait
Spending some time in Pittsburgh where locations are all over, I've enjoyed Rita's gelati (Italian ice & soft serve mixture) and the ice cream by itself. Happy to have it here in Midtown
Fun local fast food joint with great milkshakes and my favorite, the Chubby Decker sandwich.
