Soft-serve: So smooth. So creamy. So NOT run-of-the-mill if you get it from one of these spots.
Creamy, fattening custard just like they make north of the border (Wisconsin, that is!). Splurge on a blended "concrete"--the pb&j version is delectable.
No doubt the ice is nice (I'm wild about the passionfruit flavor), but there's also Bobtail ice cream and--for chilly days--tasty soups.
Perennially packed Rick Bayless gem where you can grab his killer guac, along w/ Mex sandwiches, for a cas lunch. Fab coffee & pastries too.
Pretty sure you can't go wrong here, but the jibarito and the meatball sandwich are tops. End with a softserve topped with tasty baked goods from HotChocolate's Mindy Segal.
Hooray for simplicity! No high-brow burgers here- just thin, juicy patties (turkey and veg too) with standard toppings. There's a not-so-secret "secret menu" here, yours for the asking. Love the special shake flavors.
Super chef Graham Elliot goes casual. Go for the sandwiches (obviously!)--the grilled cheese is the richest of the rich--but don't overlook the tasty salads. And soft serve is a must-try.
It's nutso here at lunch time- and the free soft serve may have something to do with it. Go gangbusters at the salad bar or try the corned beef salad.
Sheer perfection. Try the grilled tofu, soba noodles, and mochi for dessert. The daily draft cocktail is fun and affordable. Good pick for vegetarians.
Start with the Long Goodnight cocktail. There's so much amazingness on the food menu, but the fried tofu seafood hot pot, and soft serve dessert are all musts!
