It happens. We lose jobs. Luckily, there's a lot of cool places in LA that will instantly make you feel better. And who knows? Maybe they're hiring?
Stunning and romantic rooftop venue. Great views of the Hollywood Hills and West Hollywood and even all the way to downtown on a clear day. The glistening pool is a great spot for summertime swims too.
One of LA's gems. Perfect for when I want to get my thighs in shape but still bring my dog along.
My favorite hiking spot in the LA area. Not too crowded and yet just minutes from the city. Kind of romantic too for an active date idea.
Actually decent music (rare in the hipster world) and cool vibe. Considering that it used to be a tranny lounge, I must say its gotten quite a make-over. Love the artwork they display.
As a Belgian, I'm picky about beers and I was thoroughly impressed by they're selection. Bartenders are also really knowledgeable when you don't know which beer to chose from.
Hands, feet, and paws down my favorite lounge/bar in the LA area. Relaxing, cozy, and gorgeous. If only it wasn't so popular, the lines to get in are insane on weekends so I suggest going on a weekday so you'll get guaranteed entry.
This great bar sits atop an old art deco building. Great French-inspired bistro with breathtaking views of downtown LA. They often have live music during the summer months.
Atop this cool little Hollywood boutique hotel sits an awesome bar. It's cozy with it's plush couches and fire places that this would even be a great destination in the colder months. Now I just need a Ryan Gosling look alike to snuggle on the couches here with!
Laid back and fun bar. They even have Jenga and Connect Four which is 10 times more fun after some tequila.
Funky art, creative menu items, and super-hot hostess!
