I'm not a yuppie, but I moved to Lincoln Park anyway and need some places to hang.
There's a reason Bourgeois Pig is Michelin Guide recommended. Their coffee and snacks are the bomb.
You'll easily walk right past this joint in Lincoln Park. Stop! Don't! Reverse! They're shrimp tacos are número uno!!!!!!
Best post-theatre dive bar. Ever. Go for martinis, crappy (or awesome) beer or marinated cod, you won't lose. Burgers ain't bad.
Riccardo Trattoria is probably my absolute favorite restaurant in Chicago. The pasta, truffles, mozzarella and squash blossoms are unrivaled. You will NEVER have a meal that is less than spectacular w Riccardo in the kitchen.
In the mood for a kick-ass cocktail? Look no further than Lincoln Park's very own Barrelhouse Flat.
Finally a neighborhood coffee shop that doesn't rhyme w Farlux. Friendly service and great coffee, just what Lincoln Park wanted.
Nothing's better than a big juicy bar. Except the best big juicy burger w crispy onions and truffle fries. Which you will find @ Burger Bar.
I've seen many iterations of Perennial but Paul Virant's current climate is the best. Enjoy a stellar cocktail followed by Green City Market-heavy plates.
Although my burger came out wrong THREE times, when it came out right, it was perfect. Dripping with greasy love and cooked to a remarkable medium rare, the grass fed prime burger on a pretzel bun w grilled onions and melted cheddar sent me to hog heaven. And their Kennebec fries were just ketchup on the wonderfully buttered bun.
