A few spots to soak up Chicago's rich music scene.
Nobody does blues better than Buddy, and his club is a testament to his legendary bluesman status. He shows up to perform from time to time, and is not to be missed.
The quintessential Chicago jazz spot remains virtually unchanged from its early days. A very, very mixed crowd fills the room. You'll pay an admission charge, but drinks are inexpensive.
So much to dig about this dive, from the roster of craft beers to the free salty popcorn, and the live bands and cozy outdoor patio. A gem.
A Division Street spot that time (thankfully) hasn't touched. Duck in here to escape the craft beer/sports bar scene. And to catch some tunes and the Tamale Guy, of course.
Wear your elastic pants and stuff yourself silly on the award-winning pulled pork, brisket & ribs. A combo platter is the way to go. Stay for the live tunes Wed-Sun nights.
