Sure there's a Starbucks on every corner (at least 3 in a mile radius) but there's something to be said for cafes that treat you like you're more than a name on a paper cup. And you can't actually order a Frappuccino at these cafes. They're legit! (Of this I am proud)
Always busy, a great stop for a health conscious meal, authentic gourmet products, coffees and teas, and truly exciting people watching!
A lovely little cafe off of Main Street with an ambiance both sweet and full of sunshine. An in-house stocked with sweet pastries, a great breakfast menu for a mid-morning stop, and a fantastic gift store!
I spent most of my teenage years staying up late and sipping lattes here. Surrounded by literature, unique people, paninis, and the unmistakable coffee in the air, this is still a bit of LA nostalgia with a kick of cafe novice.
Beautiful in design and menu selection, this is one my favorite lunch stops. Cheese plate, wedge salad (best ever!), braised short rib sandwich (meat cooked to perfection), and their sweet selection are to die for! Always good, whatever you order.
Much like Dogtown and Z Boys, DTC is a coffeehouse that has that grunge feel without sacrificing the quality of the coffee or food they serve. Whether you're a surfer, skater, or coffee junkie, it's got all the "cool" you need.
