When you're past the wooing phase and reality has set in, it's okay to not spend half your paycheck on a dinner date. Because I said so.
Always packed for a reason! Food is fun & cheap (try the El Tico w/ ribeye & the delish oatmeal shake) and it's BYOB. Heads up: Cash only.
A hidden gem that turns out solid pizzas. Chewy Neapolitan-style crust pies with simple toppings are oh-so-satisfying. A sweet staff and well-priced wines add to the charm.
The prize-winning cue packed 'em in long before Guy Fieri caught wind of this spot. Ribs an pulled pork rule, but there are good veggie picks too. Live music i a bonus.
Bumpin' hot spot needs no endorsement, but...it rules. $7 'ritas could sell for twice that, tacos & guac r sheer bliss. Fab people-watching!
Some of the tastiest pulled pork around. Best washed down w/ the housemade moonshine. If you wanna drink the BBQ sauce (I do!), buy a bottle
Hard to find words to describe how great the sandwiches are here! Menu rotates, but try the meatball if possible. Great deli case for dinner, picnic, etc. Killer burgers on Tuesday nights.
Simply adorable. The menu has no duds, but my top picks are the chips & guac, pork tacos, and cheese curds (yeah, you heard me!).
The roasted chicken is unbelievably tender and the plantains are a must-try side. Sweet, gracious service.
Killer rolls, robusta (tofu!) & sweet staff who will customize w/o batting an eye. BYO keeps price down. Try the 100 Years Of Solitude maki.
Just about the most fun you can have @ dinner! Try the stuffed calamari, the daily ceviche, & the crabby patty. And DO NOT pass up the dreamy key lime pie!
A small menu of savory pies brings culinary-curious folks in droves. Try the mushroom-kale pie and a side of "deluxe fries." Fish fries on Fridays, too.
Tons of possible burger combos (you select it all- down to the spice blend) and I've yet to try a dud. Try the bison and don't skip the fries.
