The employees/owners are so freakin' nice at these spots that I (almost) love giving them my money.
Love this place! Bagels are steamed to order by the fun, chill staff. Try the chia bagel and don't leave w/o one of the oversized baked goods.
There's so much to love here, from the meaty subs to the perfectly curated grocery selection (high-quality oils, pastas, cheese). Love the down-to-earth, old-school staff.
A hidden gem that turns out solid pizzas. Chewy Neapolitan-style crust pies with simple toppings are oh-so-satisfying. A sweet staff and well-priced wines add to the charm.
This place simply oozes local charm. Sandwiches (esp shrimp salad), local beers, & gourmet groceries (perf for gifts) are the city's best.
Hard to find words to describe how great the sandwiches are here! Menu rotates, but try the meatball if possible. Great deli case for dinner, picnic,etc. Killer burgers on Tuesday nights.
Simply adorable. The menu has no duds, but my top picks are the chips & guac, pork tacos, and cheese curds (yeah, you heard me!).
Bartenders are genius (and fun!) & can concoct potions tailored to your tastes. Plan to eat here & stick around for free cookies @ midnight!
The perfect spot to step out of your comfort zone, thanks to fried gizzards, bbq frog legs, and pickled lamb tongue. Uber-friendly service just sweetens the deal.
By far the most adorable storefront in the city. Plan to Bring your laptop & stay awhile. Pies are great, of course, but do NOT overlook the buttery biscuits.
Cool concept w/ retail & lounge combo. Staff incredibly helpful. Bottles fit all budgets. Lounge has great vino, but nibbles lack oomph.

Just about the most fun you can have @ dinner! Try the stuffed calamari, the daily ceviche, & the crabby patty. And DO NOT pass up the dreamy key lime pie!
Truffle/marshmallow/caramel/drinking chocolate heaven. The drinking chocolate is divine, but so rich that you'll wanna share.
Sheer perfection. Try the grilled tofu, soba noodles, and mochi for dessert. The daily draft cocktail is fun and affordable. Good pick for vegetarians.
Whether you eat gluten (the whole menu is gf) or not, there's some delish fine dining to be done here. Great ambience for a date; fun drinks for a girl's night out!
